SPYC is a vibrant and friendly yacht club located in Brisbane, CA. We work closely with the City of Brisbane Marina in planning cruise-ins and welcome your interest in visiting us. We have an active social agenda including monthly Saturday dinners with live music the 3rd Saturday of the month, and weekly Friday evening pot luck dinners. To learn more about us please peruse our website, including our monthly “Spyglass” edited by Lisa Boucher. Our club received a “facelift” in 2016 and a new bar in 2018. The city completed dredging in 2017 so we can accomodate up to 8 feet of draught.
We recommend you visit us on a 3rd weekend of any month from January through October so you can join us for one of our monthly dinners. We are a "volunteer" club so meals are deliciously prepared by our members. We don't have regular hours at the bar, but when you're visiting we'll arrange to have a bar tender there along with plenty of light snacks.
During your visit you might want to walk or bike along the San Francisco Bay Trail. Go to
www.baytrail.org/get-on-the-trail and click on “Brisbane Lagoon to Bayside Park” for a map and story of the area.
Nearby cities of Brisbane, South San Francisco and Daly City are each a short Uber ride away for shopping and restaurants. A hike up nearby San Bruno mountain is another great option for our visitors. Feel free to use the picnic tables and charcoal grills on the grounds adjacent to the yacht club.
