California Boating Card Course
About this event
From January 1, 2025 All persons regardless of age need a California Boater Card to operate any motorized boat on California water ways.
This will take place at the Sierra Point Yacht Club on April 12, 2025 at 8:30AM and last until 5PM. Lunch will be provided and at the end of the course you will receive a certificate and your California Boater Card shortly thereafter. Please pre-register for this event by contacting Arnold Gelb at the USCGA abgelb.uscgaux@gmail.com. This is necessary to ensure we have the proper materials available
The Boat America course taught by our local US Coastguard Auxiliary satisfies the requirements for the boater card. After successfully completing the course you can apply and upload the certificate at https://californiaboatercard.com/applynow/ to receive your card.
